On the run

I’ve just signed up for the London Marathon so once the pavements are clear and safer I’ll be embarking on the first stages of my training programme.
Two years ago I did the New York Marathon and ran in aid of the charity Gets Kids Going. This is a charity which gives disabled children and young people – up to the age of 26 – the opportunity to participate in sport by having specially adapted wheelchairs.
Monies raised in next year’s London Marathon will of course be helping those who are aiming to participate in the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
I’ll keep you posted on further news – and will be calling on some of you out there to sponsor me too!
