Endodontics focus: Ross Henderson joins our clinical team

We’re delighted to welcome Ross Henderson who is the latest member of our clinical team at Advanced Dentistry @ Hyndland Dental Clinic. Ross’s focus will be on endodontics in the clinic.
Endodontics – the word derives from the Greek endo ”inside”; and odons ”tooth” – deal with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth.
Endodontists perform a variety of procedures including root canal therapy, surgery, treating cracked teeth, and treating dental trauma. Root canal therapy is one of the most common procedures. If the pulp (containing nerves, arterioles, venules, lymphatic tissue and fibrous tissue) becomes diseased or injured, endodontic treatment is often required to save the tooth. Ross’s appointment further enhances the experience of our team and ensures we can offer the very best treatment to our patients.
